Landscape Design of the Month: Our San Clemente Project

When we first approached this project, we saw a backyard with so much potential—it was a canvas waiting for a vision. The design concept was centered around a modern, sophisticated aesthetic, but with a warm, inviting feel that truly reflects the clients’ lifestyle.
Our first step was to reimagine the flow of the space. We created distinct zones that are both functional and beautiful: a new pool area for that perfect, serene touch; a dedicated outdoor kitchen and bar for effortless entertaining; and a cozy lounge area with a fire pit that invites you to relax and unwind.
We chose a palette of materials that are not only durable but also incredibly chic. The triple tier motorized patio cover allows lounging while watching the double sided TV wall in the rain.
The clean lines of the pavers and the low-maintenance turf create a seamless foundation, while the custom wood planters add a natural warmth. It’s all about the details—the sleek furniture, the careful landscaping—coming together to transform a good backyard into an extraordinary one.
The result is a space that feels both personal and thoughtfully designed, a true extension of the home.
